“Robot Innovator’s Meetup” was organized by ‘Bangladesh Innovation Forum’ in the capital Dhaka. The event turned out to be a gathering of innovative technologists.
The event was held in Dhaka on Saturday (January 7). The Bangladesh Innovation Forum also hosted the winning Bangladeshi teams in the 23rd International Robot Olympiad.
According to the organizers, the initiative has been taken to bring those who are working with robots in Bangladesh on one platform to set their own goals and decide what to do in the future. Hundreds of students from different institutes across Bangladesh and about 15 technicians as robotics experts were present at the event.
President of Bangladesh Computer Association Shahid-ul-Munir presided over the discussion and the keynote address was delivered by Dr. Lafifa Jamal.
In her essay, she sheds light on how robots will revolutionize the world of technology in the coming days and how students can become more involved in this field. In the article, he said that robots will play a major role in the coming industrial revolution.

Nahida Sultana Mallick, Joint Secretary, Department of Information and Communication Technology was present as the Chief Guest on the occasion. “Robots are becoming more and more important in our daily lives,” he said. As frontier technology, we need to be more proactive about robotics. He opined that there is no alternative to such an arrangement if we want to build a digital economy and knowledge based society.
He said that in the coming days, various innovations through robots will create new wonders in the world.
In the second part of the event, Bangladesh Innovation Forum welcomed the medal winning Bangladeshi teams in the 23rd International Robot Olympiad. The winners were given honorary mementos at that time.
Ariful Hasan Apu, the founder of Bangladesh Innovation Forum, said that the whole world is leaning towards robot technology during the Fourth Industrial Revolution. So we took the initiative to give our inventors a better idea of what robots they could work with and how to prepare themselves for the future. In the future, we want to connect with all those who are working with robots all over Bangladesh.
