French President Emmanuel Macron has warned that those who do not receive the covid vaccine will have their lives “hardened”. “I really want to get them in trouble, and we’re going to do that,” he told the country’s newspaper La Parisienne. However, the country’s political opponents have condemned him for using such harsh language. They say such warnings are not acceptable as president. They have termed such statements as irresponsible.
It is believed that such a law was passed this week. However, opponents of the vaccine are expressing anger. Several MPs from the country have also been threatened with death over the issue.
Many European countries are going to make the vaccine compulsory. Vaccines will be mandatory for adults in Austria and Germany from next month. On Tuesday, Macron said he did not want to force anyone to be vaccinated. He is hopeful that people will take the vaccine with enthusiasm. However, the government has a plan to limit the social life of those who do not get vaccinated.
“I’m not going to jail those who haven’t been vaccinated,” Macron said. However, I would like to tell them that from January 15, you will no longer be able to eat at restaurants. And you are not allowed to have coffee anywhere, you can not go to any theater. You will also be banned from going to the cinema.
