Most smartphone users wear a screen guard or screen protector to protect their phone. However, many do not know, using a third party screen guard would keep the phone safe, it does more harm than good!
According to a recent report, JSNews Times reports that there are two sensors at the bottom of the screen of the smartphone called Ambient Light and Proximity. With the help of this ambient light sensor, the brightness of the screen automatically increases or decreases with the sun when it goes out. When you are out in the sun, the screen gets brighter so that everything can be seen properly. This sensor automatically reduces the brightness of the screen in low bright places. On the other hand, if you notice, the screen light goes off automatically when you put the phone to your ear and talk. Understand the distance with the ear, this light is on or off. The proximity sensor does this.
Ambient light or proximity cannot be seen from outside the phone.
However, they have a very important role in the functioning of the phone. However, when a screen-guard is installed, these two sensors become guards. Due to which many times the ‘touch’ of the screen does not work. In addition, the use of third party screen guards in many cases stops the in-display fingerprint sensor from working.

For this reason, according to experts, a branded screen protector should be used if the screen guard is to be installed exclusively. It is best to use the screen guard of the company whose phone it is. In that case the screen guard is made in such a way that the sensor does not get stuck in any way. It does not damage the phone.
